Making Connections Through Exploration
Hello there!
Welcome to my page!
I’m Mary, a fashion professional with a passion for art and innovation. Growing up a ballerina I’ve always had an eye for the finer details. From wardrobe to makeup, I was enamored with the fashion world at an early age.
I love to try new things and challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone. Traveling to foreign places and learning about different cultures truly excites me.

What’s Stopping You?
Thinking back to my younger self, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. There were so many paths in front of me, I felt I couldn’t decide. The weight of deciding my future seemed too much for me.
Whenever I was discouraged or didn’t think I could accomplish something, my father would ask me “Mary, how do you eat an elephant?” I’d roll my eyes and say I have no idea dad, how? And his response was always the same: “Only a bite at a time.” Of course I would never eat an elephant, but the metaphor is genius.
Problems are just like elephants, they look entirely too big to swallow whole. Breaking them down into bite size pieces makes it much more manageable. My dads advice is now extremely repetitive, but it still remains true regardless of the challenge. Uncovering what my path is can only be done a bite at a time, like my dad says.
